We are a local team of drivers and valley guides working every day between Marrakech and the Ourika Valley. We run private day trips, transport and small packages, in French, English and Spanish, with our own families and neighbours as the people you meet along the way.

We are not a call centre in another country. We are drivers and guides who live between Marrakech and the Ourika Valley, and this site is the simplest way we found to welcome travellers directly, without middlemen.
Who we are
Our team is made of two trades that work hand in hand. Our drivers pick you up in Marrakech and know every bend of the road to Setti Fatma, the traffic at the Monday souk and the best place to stop for a view. Our valley guides are from the villages: they grew up by the river, know the paths to the waterfalls, and can explain what you see, from the seguias in the fields to the words people use to greet you. Between us we speak French, English and Spanish, as well as Tashelhit and Moroccan Arabic.
How we work
- Private vehicles and small groups. Our day trip is private: the car or minivan, the driver and the guide are for your group only. You choose the pace and how long to stay at each stop.
- Local lunch places. We take you to family-run restaurants by the river, where you pay the menu price directly, like everyone else.
- Fair cooperative visits. We visit cooperatives where women and craftspeople are paid for their work. We explain how things are made and let you decide.
- No pressure to buy. If you do not want to shop, you do not shop. A visit is a success when you understood the place, not when you bought a rug.
- Honest prices. The day trip price per person is published and paid online; everything else is quoted clearly before you confirm.
- Safety first. In summer we watch the sky and the river. If conditions are unsafe, we propose another date or a full refund.
Why we do it
The valley lives from farming and, more and more, from visitors. We want tourism here to benefit the families who live in it: the guide from the village, the woman at the argan press, the cook by the river. Travelling with a local team is the most direct way to make that happen, and it makes for a better day for you too, with real conversations instead of a script. Are you a travel agency?
We are a local team of drivers and valley guides rather than a large agency. We run our own trips between Marrakech and the Ourika Valley, and we answer your messages ourselves, by email or WhatsApp.
Which languages do you speak?
Our drivers speak French, English and Spanish, and our valley guides speak Tashelhit and Arabic with the people you meet, and translate for you. Tell us your language when you book so we can plan the right team.
Will I be pushed to buy things at the cooperatives?
No. We stop at cooperatives because the work there is worth seeing and explaining. Buying is entirely your choice, and our guides are happy to help you understand prices and quality without any pressure.
