The hotel itself gives 45 minutes from the airport; we tell our guests to count about an hour, because the last part is slow. After the tarmac of the Ourika road, the way up to the kasbah is a dirt track that reviewers on Tripadvisor describe as long, narrow and bumpy. It is the part of the journey that surprises travellers who arrive with a rental car or an ordinary taxi at night.

How does the transfer from Marrakech airport work?

2. The driver follows your flight. If it lands late, the pickup moves with it.
